Chris Plummer is responsible for developing social mobile games, new intellectual property (IP) and expanding the development capacity for DeNA game studios in the West.

Chris is a veteran creative and production executive with more than 18 years experience in the game business. He spent more than a decade of his career working in production, design and marketing leadership roles at Electronic Arts (EA) before joining DeNA’s U.S. subsidiary ngmoco in 2008. At ngmoco, Chris produced and launched four No. 1 hits on the Apple App Store since October 2009, including Eliminate Pro and Touch Pets Dogs. Most recently, he was General Manager of DeNA’s North American game studios, and Executive Producer on TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS.

Chris began his career at Origin Systems, Inc. in Austin, TX where he was the marketing lead on Ultima Online (the first commercially successful MMO), the Wing Commander brand and Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri, among other original properties.

Prior to SGN, Adam was one of the original members of Playtika, helping to establish them as an industry leader in the social gaming space. Adam also currently sits on the advisory board of a number of gaming and technology companies. He was born in Israel, raised on an Island north of Seattle Washington, and holds a BA in International Business and Philosophy from Linfield College.

Prior to joining Facebook, he spent close to 3 years at Accel Partners, making investments in a variety of technology companies. He was a board observer at Supercell (#1 mobile and tablet game developer with over 5M DAUs) and Space Ape Games (early stage mobile game developer). He was also closely involved Accel's $25M investment in vacation rental marketplace, Housetrip and worked closely with portfolio companies like Hailo and Dragonplay. Prior to Accel, Aman worked in the Global Technology Group at Credit Suisse, where he worked on transactions in the payment, mobile and infrastructure space.

Ian Livingstone is one of the founding fathers of the UK games industry.

He co-founded iconic games company Games Workshop in 1975, launching Dungeons & Dragons in Europe and the Games Workshop retail chain.

He co-created Fighting Fantasy gamebooks in 1982, which have sold over 17 million copies to date. His Blood of the Zombies marked the 30th anniversary of the series.

He designed Eureka, the first computer game published by Domark in 1984, and joined the company in 1992 as a major investor and director, overseeing a merger that created Eidos plc in 1995, where he served as Executive Chairman until 2002. At Eidos he launched major franchises including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

He co-authored the Next Gen review in 2011 published by NESTA, recommending changes in ICT education policy to bring computer science into the national curriculum as an essential discipline.

In the Wired 100 list for 2012, he was ranked the 16th most influential person in the UK’s digital economy.

He is an Angel investor in UK Indie games studios including Playdemic, Mediatonic, PlayMob and Midoki.

He is currently Life President of Eidos, Vice Chair of UKIE, Chair of Playdemic, Chair of PlayMob, Chair of Skillset’s Video Games Council, Chair Next Gen Skills Committee, Member of the Creative Industries Council, Trustee of GamesAid and an advisor to the British Council.

He was appointed OBE in 2006, and has also received a BAFTA Special Award, a British Inspiration Award, the Develop Legend Award, an Honorary Doctorate of Arts by Bournemouth University and an Honorary Doctorate of Technology by Abertay University, Dundee for his contribution to the UK computer and video games industry.

He was appointedCBE in the 2013 New Year Honours list.

Andrew Oliver is co-founder and co-owner of Blitz Games Studios and took on the role of Technical Director when he and his twin brother Philip started the company in 1990, following nearly ten years of designing and writing highly successful video games. In August 2002 he was appointed Chief Technical Officer and is now responsible for all aspects of the company's game development direction and future technology strategy, including spearheading the organisation’s move onto new consoles and devices. Barry’s career started in Dublin, Ireland in 1992 working on health related 'edutainment' titles for SNES, AMIGA and PC. In early 1994 he moved to the UK to join Bullfrog Productions Ltd. where he spent his time as a lead designer and artist/animator on titles such as Magic Carpet 1 & 2, Syndicate Wars, Dungeon Keeper and many others. Over the next ten years Barry worked for various studios as a game designer (Acclaim Teesside, Negative Productions, Mucky Foot) before being hired as a character artist by Criterion Studios in 2004 working on BLACK and subsequently Burnouts 3, 4 and Paradise. In 2008 Barry and five friends left Criterion to form Fireproof Studios.

Erica May is working on an unannounced project at Mind Candy, helping develop a wider mobile strategy for the company.

Erica joined Mind Candy from the games team at Facebook, where she worked with partners including Zynga, Playdom and EA to ensure the games were designed with social at their core and leveraged all new platform features. Erica worked on the release of Facebook’s mobile ads and in getting their mobile SDK adopted by developers.

Previously at PopCap she managed the company’s social channel strategy after she ran the customer acquisition for Bejewelled Blitz and Zuma Blitz.   She has also worked on digital/mobile strategy for REI, Bing, Windows, Windows Live, Disney, Nike, Dell and SunTrust Bank and SunTrust Mortgage throughout the rest of her career.

Erica recently moved to London from San Francisco alongside her dog Kiwi. She loves the outdoors and has always had a huge passion for games ever since she was first introduced to the original King’s Quest as a child.

Volker is a mobile, gaming and digital media entrepreneur and executive. He is the co-founder of Oystercrowd (growth accelerator for start-ups), Blue Beck (a game and app development studio) and Digital M (digital merchandise for avatar and sticker platforms), and serves as Chairman of Infantium, a Barcelona-based cognitive adaptive learning platform and Cognisess, a people analytics start-up based in Bath and Berkeley, California. He is also a Venture Partner at Emerge Venture Lab, an ed-tech accelerator sprung out of Oxford University’s Said Business School.

Previously, he served as the Global Head of Business Development – Games for BlackBerry. BlackBerry had acquired mobile social gaming platform Scoreloop where he was the Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel and had helped drive growth to now 350m users.

A lawyer by education, Volker has worked in mobile entertainment since 1999. He worked with music artists like Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Eve, Nile Rodgers and Duran Duran on the world’s first mobile artist services and has been in the mobile games sector almost from its start with Mforma/Hands-On Mobile and Connect2Media (which he co-founded) where he oversaw licensing and corporate development and worked with Marvel, Hasbro, Activision, LEGO, BMW, Konami, the World Poker Tour, Universal, Viacom, and many developers, brand owners and network operators along the way.

Volker is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Governor of the Fallibroome Academy, and “outstanding” (OFSTED) comprehensive school. Nick Parker started in the games industry in 1992. Over the years Nick has built up a unique library of market information and sixth sense understanding which he now applies to client engagements.

As an entrepreneur, he started GameVision, the games industry standard in consumer intelligence in 2002 and which now counts every games publisher and hardware manufacturer as clients. He was recruited by Atari in 2000 to set up a sister company for online casual gamers called Gamenation which he did from scratch by hiring the team and taking offices in London and which still operates today from San Francisco.

In the last ten years, Nick has been running the successful business consultancy Parker Consulting in order to apply his deep knowledge base to client strategic challenges.
